Here is the latest I will send you a copy of an email I wrote this morning to caulene so save time

Marilyn has had the worst 48 hours of her entire life go by. I finally decided to take her by ambulance into emergency at the foothills hosp because I could see she wasn't going to get the help she needed as an outpatient. The wait in emerg was horrible even with constant care from EMS services. When she finally got a bed all her pain meds had worn off so I requested more morphine. Then I listened as she went through more and more x-Rays and CT scans screaming in pain. At first the Doctors weren’t convinced that she should be admitted but should come back on Monday and join a special test group of out patients but with the emerg Docs and my convincing they came back after 13 hours with the news that she was going to be admitted. During the day things went from bad to worse, as it didn't seem the pain meds were doing anything. A test came back that her kidneys weren't functioning properly so the toxins were simply building up in her body and she was becoming more and more confused. When they tried to insert a catheter Stephen and I sat in the lounge listening to her scream for the nurses to stop. They did and the catheter was not put in. When I came back Marilyn had an IV and was so confused and upset I could hardly stand it. The nurses and our boys convinced me to go home and get rest, as I had not slept properly for 48 hours. The doctor then ordered different pain meds and by the time I got home they had Marilyn calmed down and sleeping. I was just woken up with a call from your dad so I gave him a report and now have called back to the hospital to find that Marilyn was in good enough shape to be set up for her MRI test. She goes for that in an hour. Now I am going to try to get some people together that can sit with her today so I can get rest and not end up in the room beside her.
Thanks for your love and care. I will keep you posted.

Since the time of this email things have not improved.
The MRI failed because Marilyn could not tolerate the pain so the next plan is to give anesthetic for this and as I write this we wait for a new test time. I have stayed home all day as my emotions could not take the pressure anymore. Marilyn of course does not understand this and has called me twice as well as make a nurse call to ask me to come into the hospital immediately. Her mind is still playing horrible tricks as she thinks the nurses are not caring for her or helping. Your prayers are needed. Ardith has been fantastic with me all day, as I have had someone to call and talk to whenever I needed. That included 4 AM as well as any time throughout the day. Just now the phone rang and it was Marilyn. She is still in pain but her mind seemed so much better. I am thanking God for this. Now I think I can go up to the hospital. Ardith will be with me too. I had just asked her if she would come up with me minutes ago. Also I got a sign from God regarding Marilyn this morning. Not knowing where to turn I opened the Bible and the pages fell to Nehemiah. Nehemiah was weeping over the broken wall of Jerusalem and in my mind I saw Marilyn's twisted and broken bones. With God and the helping hands of others the wall was built up again. I again saw the doctors and nurses and all of our praying friends praying over Marilyn’s broken body.
I know you are praying for us and I am sure we will get through this
Many thanks and love
